Первая фаза долгожданного бета-тестирования игры начнётся сразу же после трёхдневного weekend-шоу (29-31 октября), которое смогут посетить все желающие.

Чтобы принять участие в "holiday sessions" бета-тесте, вам нужно будет сделать предварительный заказ полной версии игры, составляющий небольшую часть от её финальной суммы. Для тех, кто это сделает, Арена.нет планирует проводить подобные бета-слёты ежемесячно. В дальнейшем, сроки их проведения могут быть существенно расширены.

Те кто примут участия в бете, смогут зарезервировать себе пару, тройку ников, эти прозвища останутся вашими и после прекращения беты. Так что если хотите себе прозвище типа Леголас или Робин Гуд заказывайте игру уже в сентябре.

Также те кто сделают pre-order возможно получат какой-то (внутре-игровой) предмет, пока о нём ничего не известно, но как сказала Гейл- "it's something that all Guild Wars fans will want to own." Предметы могут быть различными в зависимости от (онлайн) магазина в котором вы сделаете заказ. Список магазинов где можно будет заказать ГВ будет опубликован в ближайшее время. Хотя уже есть некоторые места где можно сделать pre-order, советую подождать до оглашения оффициального списка.

Играть в очередной World Preview Event можно будет и через E3 клиент, если он у вас остался.

We don't have details yet, but we talked about international pre-orders and beta weekend events just this week. Although details are yet to be finalized, we have every reason to believe that the beta weekend events will be international in scope, not simply North American. It's easiest for those in North America at this time, because the details are defined: If you preorder Guild Wars from a store in North America in Mid-September, you get a pre-sale product that includes access to the World Preview Event (of course, that's open to all) and to each weekend beta event afterwards. You also get cool goodies beyond the game client that gets you into the event. This is, without doubt, the easiest method. Place a modest deposit in mid-September when the pre-sale product is on the shelves. All of the deposit applies to the game's purchase price (meaning the pre-sale product is free). You are given a receipt to allow you to pick up the final game, the store enters you into a call list for contact when the game comes in, and they hand you the pre-sale product.

If you have previously pre-ordered from a store, you should be able to waltz in to the store in mid-September, show your receipt, and head out the door with the game pre-sale product. It's part of your pre-order, no matter when you placed the pre-order.

If you ordered online, I confess that I'm not sure how that works. Do they send you the pre-sale item automatically? Do you need to request it? Can you take your on-line pre-order receipt to a brick and mortar shop and get a free pre-sale product box? These are questions that you probably have, and ones that we'll get answers to as soon as possible.

We are working with our international sales and marketing team to make sure that those in countries outside North America are able to get into all events. The World Preview Event isn't a question: Anyone can download the client and hop in to play! Information about how access to the beta events will function outside of NA will be forthcoming.

I'm writing all this into an email and we hope to have answers for you very soon. Do rest assured that all answers should be in the positive; we want you to join us, and will make it as easy as possible for us to all play Guild Wars together!

Can I get into the main beta testing so I can play 24/7?

Sure. As you play the game more and more, you'll meet people from all around the world and even people that work at A.net. If your in the right place at the right time, someone may just recommend you be put into the beta. As Gaile told me, there are plenty of ways to be put into the beta, you just have to find the right one.

Один из магазинов опублиуковал содержимое бонус диска. Это будет ваше если вы сделаетe pre-order. Содержимое бонус дисков может быть различным в зависимости от магазина в которым вы сделали заказ. Интерестно будет ли какой-нибудь из российских или хотя-бы европейских распространителей предлогать этот pre-sales product или придётся платить за пересылку из штатов.

Проблема заключается в том будут ли европейские онлайн магазины предлагать этот pre-sales product.

А платить 59.99$ за транспортировку из США я уж точно не буду.

Тем более что в Россию Gamestop не отсылает. Насчёт других магазинов пока незнаю.

Какая-нибудь из Российских компаний заинтересованa в распространении ГВ?
