Guild Wars

Gaile Gray, ArenaNet Community Relations Manager, is a writer whose recent projects include the Diabloii.net and WarCraftiii.net websites, as well as producing content for several other websites, freelance publishing clients and game companies. In addition to writing for ArenaNet, she coordinates Guild Wars Beta Test and manages worldwide fan communications.

Gaile Gray
Current role at Diabloii.net - News updates
Location - Seattle, Washington
History in a minute - California native, moved to Britain as a girl, back to Cali, then on to Washington. I was captivated by the first game I ever purchased, Black Cauldron (Sierra) and have invested *way* too much time, money, and passion in gaming ever since. Inaugural composition was crayola on crib
; I was first published at 17. I am now involved professionally in the writing and publishing of … well.. just about anything, from boring old corporate newsletters (*cough* mine are never boring, of course!) to travel stories and entertainment reviews, even a review of StarCraft.
Staple diet - {Heck, I *never* eat staples, might perforate me tummy!} Ah, food? Dark chocolate (the more expensive the better), baked goods, truffles, and Dr. Pepper (but not all at the same time).
Favourite Games - Guild Wars, Diablo, StarCraft, WarCraft II, the LucasArts Monkey Island and Indy games, Word for Windows (hey, writing is a game!).
Favourite Films - Disney’s Sleeping Beauty, The Wizard of Oz, Indiana Jones Trilogy, The Haunting.
Favourite Bands - The Seattle Symphony, REM, Live, Paul Simon (Simon & Garfunkel), Bush, The Beatles, Seattle Opera Company (I’m making a life of eclecticism).
Favourite Booze - Champagne, Absolut, Kahlua.
