сегодня наконец достал нормальную версию УО
и установил её себе на нубук
пропатчил инсталяшкой с новусовсого сайта
(охх и наебался я же с ней)
в итоге я уже на сервере.
начал качать мининг.
чтобы хоть как то заработать.
и так система OSI 99

statcup 225
скилы растут медленно.
народу неизвестно, т.к. нету статуса.
видел реально человек 30.
все тупо стоят у банка и качаются.

Firstly I`d like to point out when I first started testing and then developing on this shard I was 110% against statloss.
I considered it pointless, idiotic and a total dissrespect toward pk`s.
However my views have now changed and yes, I am a pk.
Lets look at this logicaly from both view points of different sets of players on shards without statloss and how I feel things would be altered with statloss.
I currently have a 7gm swords tankmage on metro.
I have 71 counts in about 5 days pking and a fair few of those were afk macroers and ANY blue that happened to cross my path, be them high end dexxers, mages or bone armor n00bs. I gained a wealth of ingots, bandages, potions, gm made weapons and basicaly made more money than I lost (30 each reg and a gm hally/katana is nothing).
Minoc mines became almost deserted of miners as did all the other mines on the shard overtime since I marked em all up and made a few mine runs each day.
Brit farmlands also became deserted with the GY remaining full, go there ya get ganked and die... well I die.... I`m nothing special but I can hold my own hehe
It became more about how many counts I had and how many fast kills I did than actualy killing for a reason or for pvp.
With no care that I may have been taking these n00bs full plate that they had spent 3hrs getting the cash together for in 3secs....
What i`m trying to get at is that being red has no consiquince.... can`t goto town? Buccs Den, a house and a mule, I really didn`t feel in any way shape or form that I was being punished in any way for indisriminate killing of innocents... in fact, it became the opposite
Also there was no status in being red... anyone could go red and stay red and being red itself loses all its meaning.
Being red is ment to say something and without statloss its empty...
With no statloss bounty boards also have absolutly no meaning and nor do guild wars or chaos/order. You can kill anyone anytime with no retribution on you so the other shit just doesnt matter.
With statloss implemented order/choas will be the main sted of pvp, it would mean people will join chaos/order when they feel they are ready to pvp and stay out of the mass murdering when they arn`t or dont want it.
Now, i`m not saying metro doesnt have chaos/order because it does but it has no meaning because its just a colour of a name on your screen, coz you can attack anyone with no consiquence. Also with statloss and being in order/chaos it would make you think twice about killing your own side since they appear noto colours (blue) to you.....
Metro removed its bounty boards and IPY doesn`t have them.... without statloss they are worthless, I mean I could go around killing loads of people getting all theyre stuff and then get a m8 to kill me at my house and take my head in and get even more money...... lame lol.
The idea of statloss in relevance to the bounty system is that you become worth more and more dead and once killed you should have to stay dead for a time, removing that PK from the game till either they macro off theyre counts dead or take statloss and macro up theyre chr again.
With macro progs such as razor and easyuo making cash on a blue to macro these skills back up is no probelem, I mean for a start tailoring won`t be nurfed here and easyuo lj macros make loads of cash too.
What i`m getting at here is that its not about what statloss does to a single player, its about what it does for a shard. It makes miners feel safer since on nos with statloss i`ll still goto all the mines but instead of pk`ing everyone there i`ll be more cautious, for instance killing theyre pack animal so I go grey hoping they will then attack me and also only pk the miners that have alot of ore on them which I`ll be able to tell by the ore dropping on the floor by them being full. On metro I got 3.5k ingots from 1 guy yet i killed 15 that day and only made 4k ingots in total.
Like in dungeons, instead of killing every damned blue in bone armor I see i`ll only kill the select few that would make it worth the murder count like the one guy thats been hanging at an ogre lord spawn for an hour
Also statloss will give meaning back to guild infiltration, where you deliberatly join a guild of people you don`t like just to kill them all.
Since they will then be green to you they won`t be able to give you murder counts.
A Thief in the thiefs guild, although blue can be attacked and killed because they will never be able to give counts (even if they have never snooped or stolen from you).
There are many many ways to flag yourself grey too, and when grey you cannot give mc`s and once someone attacks you for being grey, they cannot give you an mc either.
Attacking blue npcs.
Flagging on a summoned animal.
To name just 2.
Statloss will also create honor amoung murderers, since all the reds may be in statloss they wont go around killing eachother and also may well help another they se in trouble
People have been saying to me "Statloss is as bad as trammel and is just the same shit", well I agree statloss could be seen that way but what it does is create balance, UO was perfect with statloss in place, osi just went too far when they then added trammel.
At the end of the day there will be no shortage of pvp here but there will be a cutdown on the indisciminate killing of every blue n00b, macroer, miner, lj`er that dares move out from a city.

“Although thou has slain the innocent thine deeds shall not bring retribution upon thy return to the living”
This means you have more than 5 Long Term and you are Red but you have less than
5 Short Term and are not in statloss.
“If thou shalt return to the world of the living the innocent will wreak havoc apon thine soul!”
Means you are Red and have more than 5 Short Term kills and therefore will receive Statloss relevant to your Short Term kills at that time if you resurrect.
